Unique moments

St Simeon

Offering the peace and harmony of a private residence set among natural, traditional and cultural treasures, St Simeon is within easy reach of everything you need for leisure and entertainment, while being at a comfortable distance from the Kopaonik crush, right at the spot for the most beautiful sunsets. Apartment owners are specially privileged with direct access from their villas to the Karaman and Jaram ski paths, from which they can access the entire network of Kopaonik ski runs.

Snow and sun

Kopaonik is the largest ski resort in Serbia and one of the most beautiful in the Balkans. The mountain has more than two hundred days of sunshine per year and about 160 days of snow cover.

Sky and earth

“Kopaonik… this wonderful part of Serbia in which there was always something for me to see and admire, a place I have never left without wanting to return again.” – Josif Pančić.

Kopaonik’s broad spaces, flora and climate make it a year-round tourist destination. All the gifts of nature are preserved on this mountain. To ensure this wealth endures, the majority of it is protected as the Kopaonik National Park.

Old and new

THE OLD COTTAGE – Jaram, the place on which St Simeon now stands, is known as the site of an old cottage on the ski path itself, the warmth of whose hearth attracted those who enjoyed sport, food and Medveđa brandy.

THE COURT COTTAGE – Along the ski path below the Jaram Villas, the old cottage has been replaced by the Court Cottage, built on the same spot around the same hearth, but with a new look. The Court Cottage Restaurant is the first in a series of unique hospitality facilities at St Simeon.

The cultural and historical importance of Jaram is underlined by the third-century Methodius Shrine in the very heart of the Kopaonik National Park. The shrine comprises a miraculous spring and geyser with a small church hidden among the crags of the Brzećka river. It can be reached on foot from Jaram by taking the forest paths down the gorge.
